Reflecting on the inaccessibility of academia, the concealment of information from the state, and the misdirection of news headlines from the media, I created these “books that cannot be read”.
Using various bookbinding methods - drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese sewing, French folds, and perfect binding tools, I set up these objects to visualise and materialise the inaccessibility of information.
